Rob and Tineke – Cambridge Golf and Country Club Wedding Photos – Yellow and Grey Wedding

I’m not quite sure where to start with this post because I loved every single thing about Rob and Tineke’s wedding.  Based on the amount of effort Tineke put into styling her engagement shoot this past spring, I knew that her wedding would be spectacular, and it was.  Before I get to her choice of styling, I have to say a few words about family.  Rob and Tineke both come from large families and it was so impressive (and fun!!!) to see everyone together on their wedding day.  There were children and siblings and people with blond hair everywhere! 🙂  Peppered throughout their day there were moments that highlighted just how much Rob and Tineke value family…from the photos of family weddings past featured on a wall in Tineke’s home, to being presented with a family bible in their ceremony.  It was really lovely.

Now onto the details.  Yellow is my favourite color, and Billy Balls are my favorite flower so those two things alone would have been enough to make this one of my favourite weddings of all time.  But her brooch bouquet took my breath away!  Tineke thrifted her way around southern Ontario collecting only the most beautiful vintage brooches and the outcome was so pretty.  The birch trees, the stationary, the burlap aisle runner embossed with an “S” for Tineke’s new last name, all the little signs, the painted dresser, the butterflies, the little windmills for the girls…everything was DIY’d with heart and soul by Tineke and her entourage of sisters and friends.  She must have been so proud to see it all come together so beautifully.  You would never know from looking through the photos that it POURED rain for a solid hour in between their ceremony and reception.

So without further adieu here are just some of the many highlights from their wedding day.  Now to decide where I’m going to submit this wedding for publishing! 🙂
